The Mill Park Basketball Stadium works will continue during lockdown as allowed by DHHS, following their guidelines.
Over the next couple of weeks there will not appear to be much happening with preparation works, such as
- Site protection, hoardings, site sheds, temporary entry construction.
- Services isolation
- Relocate Court 1 air conditioning unit – Major Impact to court 1
Next month you may hear some works but not be able to see what’s going on inside which will be:
- Demolition of under grandstand amenities, reception and foyer amenities.
- Removal of part stadium flooring to enable demolition of the concrete wall (near old WCBA office)
Towards the end of next month works commence outside, at the rear of the stadium, with excavation in preparation for new change rooms/ amenities.
Please note all of the above works are subject to weather and supply chain availability, which may be compromised by Covid.
